  2. It’s true about sewing. I teach art and incorporate stitchery (good to know how to sew on a button, at least). A nineteen year old asked for help, holding a pin and thread, and exasperatedly asked, “how do you keep the thread from falling off?”
    I’ll always hold a fondness for belles/bells, regardless of trend.
